Our history dates back to 1921, when the Blanquer family opened a small sawmill and traditional carpentry business. Their daily activity was based on the production of fruit boxes and carpentry work. Advances in the industry and the appearance of cardboard boxes, more optimal for transport, made them decide to cover new market niches.

Responding to the needs of the market and the strong demand of the Valencian furniture industry, in 1960, he decided to reinvent the family business, moving his facilities to Valencia and dedicating himself to the felling, preparation and sale of all types of wood. It took only a few years to gain recognition in the sector.

It was in 1981 when he finally established the company Maderas y Chapas Blanquer, as we know it today. With strong roots and a wide knowledge of the world of wood, the third generation of the Blanquer family knew how to make the company grow, going from a 100 m2 warehouse to the current facilities of more than 12,000 m2 of warehouse, and another 12,000 m2 of yard for natural drying and storage.

Currently under the management of the third generation, in Maderas y Chapas Blanquer, we are proud to have achieved wide international recognition, preserving the values that have accompanied us for generations in the family. Our strong roots have allowed us to evolve with the times, and to respond efficiently to the needs of our customers, always offering the best quality in raw materials and excellence in service.
