The team at Maderas y Chapas Blanquer is firmly committed to the sustainability and the minimization of the company’s environmental footprint . That is why in supporting the needs of our environment, we decided to obtain the necessary certifications knoun as FSC® and PEFC™, in order to offer our clients a product with a minimal forestry impact and thereby promoting the fulfillment of an established requirement from the environmental, social and economic perspective. Besides, we follow the Good Practice Code established by AEIM (Spanish Wood Importers Association) and the requirements decreed by the European regulation EUTR Nº 995/2010, with the aim of establishing the necessary guidelines for the accreditation of the origin of all of our products.
SGS is a world-leading Certification Service, which allows us to demonstrate that our products, processes, systems and services comply with most of the established guidelines and with the national and international regulations.
This is a not-for-profit, independent and worldwide non-government organization which promotes sustainable forest management aimed at obtaining a social, economic and environmental balance.
A national non-profit association also concerned with international protection which aims to contribute to enhancing competitiveness in the furniture, timber and packaging industries as well as in allied industries.
FSC certification guarantees that the products have their origin in well-managed forest resources, thereeby, providing environmental, social and economic benefits. Through FSC Certification, the forest’s owners and administrators can prove that they are managing their forest responsibly. Our certification enables us to maintain such certification throughout the consumption chain.
The Spanish Timber Importers´ Association (AEIM) is a private organization. It is a non-profit entity, which brings together and represents timber importers in Spain. Timber agents and shipping agents may also be eligible for membership in the Association.
